About
His Story.
His Mission.
Beejay Brooks is a father to a beautiful daughter, as well as a son to two amazing, God-fearing parents.
Beejay is a full-time certified personal trainer, coach, and owner of Brooks Training and Fitness with his certifications coming from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), VertiMax, and The Athletic Performance Lab. He was born in Galveston, Texas, and raised in Houston/Katy, Tx. During Beejay’s adolescent years, he excelled as an athlete on the football field. After being selected to an FBU All- American game, competing for 3 state championships at the 6A level on both sides of the ball, and going on to play college football at Augustana College in Illinois, Beejay realized he had a passion for weight training and fitness just as much as he did for football.
After finishing his athletic career, he resumed working at the Athletic Performance Lab then shortly after began working at HASFit Elite Personal Training in San Antonio Texas. While focusing on clients with fitness goals such as dropping body fat and gaining muscle at HASFit, Beejay found that he can make a significant impact in his world through fitness training. He realized most people don’t have a clue on what pieces belong in the “fit” or “get in shape” puzzle. Then is where Beejay committed himself to help every person he meets in or outside the gym take the mystery out of fitness and GET RESULTS. While he still loves and engages in coaching athletes on their individual goals,
Fitness Evaluation
I will determine your levels of health-related fitness components (body composition, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, and aerobic capacity).
This will allow me to determine your overall vigor and vitality, related to, but not a measure of, athletic ability.
A state of adequate physical fitness is the ability to handle undo stress and daily occupations without becoming fatigued.
Excercise Plans
After I evaluate your fitness levels, I will begin to craft a personalized workout plan that takes into account your fitness goals and is completely balanced when it comes to moderate and vigorous activity. I will also be consistently checking in on you and seeing how your body is adapting to the workouts to see if any changes need to be made.
Nutrition Guidance
The most important part of this all is the nutrition! No matter how hard we train in the gym, we can not out-train a poor diet. I will also do a nutrition evaluation and recommend the correct macronutrients break down to for you that will help you attain all of your fitness goals.
